Cheyenne County Lawyers' Association names scholarship winner

SIDNEY - A Sidney High School senior was named the recipient of the Cheyenne County Lawyers' Association scholarships Wednesday.

President Donald Miller announced Audrey Splichal receive a $1,500 scholarship from the association. Splichal must be enrolled in an accredited university, college, or community college by Aug. 31, 2023 to receive the funds. 

"The Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association would like to thank all the seniors who applied for these scholarships," Miller said in a press release. "The Association received a number of outstanding applications and all of the applicants should be commended on their achievements."

The runner-up for the scholarship was Sidney High School senior Rylee McManis.
