Scotts Bluff County to sell old Department of Health and Human Services building
Scotts Bluff County has agreed to sell the old Department of Health and Human Services building to a Cheyenne based company.
By News Channel NebraskaSCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scotts Bluff County has agreed to sell the old Department of Health and Human Services building to a Cheyenne based company.
On Monday, The Scotts Bluff County Commissioners discussed and unanimously approved the sale of the old DHHS building on 10th Street in Gering to Cheyenne based The Bozrah Projects LLC. The county approved the sale for $500,000. The county sold the building outright after it had not received any acceptable bids during the first time the building was for sale. The building has been on sale since mid August of 2022 and had received interest from the Gering Library Foundation.
The county also finalized a deal with the City of Scottsbluff to sell land on South Beltline Highway that will be used for a new transfer facility.
