City of Kimball to chlorinate main water tank

The city of Kimball will participate in the routine process of chlorinating the city water on July 11th.

The city of Kimball will participate in the routine process of chlorinating the city water on July 11th.

In a press release on Monday morning, City Clerk Paula Tarango explained that the city would begin chlorinating the main water tank on the morning of July 11th.

According to the release., there may be a residual taste of chlorine in the city water for up to a week. To spite a slightly different taste, the water will be safe for drinking, cooking and cleaning.

The City of Kimball apologized for the short notice on the chlorination. Water customers with questions or concerns about the process are welcomed to call the city at 308-235-3639.
