SIDNEY -- Hometown Liquor recently presented a check to Sidney Public Library as a result of the company's RoundUp Program.

In July, customers made contributions of 2,794, totaling $1359.48. Hometown Liquor added $500 to the contributions, then rounded up the figure to an even $1,860. The donation was presented to Sidney Public Library's Children's Reading Programs.

Customers at Hometown Liquor are offered the opportunity to "round up" their purchases to an even dollar amount, or more, with the additional amount earmarked for a specific cause or charity.
