Kyra's Kisses annual car show set for August 19
Kyra's Kisses is hosting its third annual car show Saturday, August 19, at 2622 11th Ave. in Sidney. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
By News Channel NebraskaSIDNEY -- Kyra's Kisses is hosting its third annual car show Saturday, August 19, at 2622 11th Ave. in Sidney.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is free and cars line up at 9 a.m. Bring your show vehicle, or just your go vehicle and support the cause.
This year will include RC car auto-cross racing. RC racers are encouraged to bring their RC car and show your skills.
There will also be a nacho bar and shaved ice for a donation.
Kyra's Kisses was started when two-year-old Kyra was diagnosed with bran cancer. During treatment, her family would give her a toy or a gift. She started giving a toy she carried to other children.
Kyra’s Kisses donates toys to the local hospitals for children who come in needing medical attention. The toys help ease their fears so they can receive the medical attention needed.
