Pine Bluffs Police have arrested Tyler Pohlman, 26, following a community lock down prompted by gunfire.

Pohlman discharged a shotgun from his residence at 515 Blair, before fleeing the scene with a dog.

The Laramie County School District messaging system and Pine Bluffs Police Facebook page issued warnings asking residents to stay inside, to lock doors and windows, and to remain vigilant.

While his whereabouts in the time following the incident are not clear, he was apprehended about two hours after the shot was fired. He is now in custody.

Residents were assured that they could go outside and that the dog was safe in a message from Pine Bluffs Police.
