Potter Days starts August 31
Potter Days is scheduled for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday this week.
POTTER -- The annual Potter Days is scheduled for August 31 through September 3.
The celebration will start 7 p.m. Thursday, August 31 with the Queen Crowning at Railroad Park.
Events pickup again Saturday morning with the Color Run opening the day. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the run at 8 a.m. from Railroad Park.
The Depot and Downtown museums will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. on Front Street. The theme of this year's parade is "Gettin' The Band Back Together."
The Craft Show also opens at 10 a.m. The craft show will be held at the bank lawn.
Co-ed sand volleyball is scheduled for 11 a.m. Duckpin bowling will also be open, at the Duckpin Bowling Alley, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Youth Center stand will open at 11 a.m. Food trucks will also open at 11 a.m. in the bank parking lot. The beer garden at Railroad Park opens at 11 a.m. A live band and The 76th Army Band will perform at Railroad Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Inflatable games for children will be available all day at the bank lawn.
The day will also include PNCC Offroad Racing noon to 7 p.m. at 3272 County Road 83, cheerleading performances at the main stage at noon, book sale and bakery bites, Escape Room at the Potter Grocery building, Duck Race, at 2:30 p.m., Tin Roof Sundae eating contest at 3 p.m., free watermelon feed at 3 p.m., cornhole tournament, live band at Railroad Park 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., school tour and reunion at 3:30 p.m., a free drawing downtown at 5 p.m., free popcorn bar at Railroad Park at 6 p.m. and team roping at Good Times Rodeo Grounds at 6 p.m.
Sunday starts with the second day of PNCC Offroad Racing beginning at 8 a.m. A four-person scramble golf tournament at Prairie Pines Golf Course starts at 10 a.m. and and Party in the Pasture starts at 5 p.m. at 3272 County Road 83.
