TERRYTOWN, Neb. (KNEP) - The Terrytown City Council is looking to fill a vacancy.

During a special meeting last week, the City of Terrytown approved the resignation of city council member Bill Fedorchik. Fedorchik served as a member of city council since being elected in 2022.

Residents interested in applying can send a letter of interest to Terrytown City Hall, located at 116 Terry Blvd. Gering, NE by 5 p.m. on Nov. 3.

During the city’s Nov. 9 meeting, the mayor will make a recommendation to city council where the newly appointed member will serve the remainder of Fedorchik’s term until 2026.
