SIDNEY -- The DeNovellis family, Adams Industries employees and the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce gathered Sidney Auto Sales Wednesday, December 6 for a ribbon cutting, formally recognizing the union of the two companies.

"We've been excited about this for quite a while now. It's going to be really great having two family, home-grown businesses coming together. We're going to get bigger, but we're going to keep all of the customer service you've known from both companies. It's, it's just going to be great," said Dustin DeNovellis.

Denny DeNovellis said he is excited for the partnership with Adams Industries. After the ribbon cutting, he spoke with News Channel Nebraska.

"It was great. We're going to be working together. They're a great company and I'm really happy to be involved with them," DeNovellis said.

He said he expects the inventory to increase significantly. Additionally, there are plans to remodel the office building at Sidney Auto Sales.

"It's, it's going to change. It's going to be for the better. We'll be able to keep the same service, only more. We'll have more cars. It'll be fun, to see, watch it grow," he said.

The DeNovellis family has operated Sidney Auto Sales for nearly 50 years.

Adams Industries traces its roots to the early 1960s as Bob's Water Service, hauling water to various drilling rigs throughout Nebraska and Colorado. Don later established Don's Trucking in 1984 to assist his father. The father-son duo then officially merged in 1987 to become incorporated as Adams & Son Trucking, Inc.
