Sidney City Council race grows to four candidates

The contest for Sidney City Council seats now has four candidates: two incumbents and two non-incumbents.

SIDNEY -- The race for Sidney city council seats has grown by one more as of today.

Incumbents Brock M. Buckner, Sr. and Burke Radcliffe have submitted paperwork seeking to retain their seats. Brian Fort is registered as a non-incumbent and Kimberly Keen has entered the race as well.

In the Cheyenne County commissioner race, there continues to be only two candidates: incumbent Randal D. Miller and non-incumbent Eric M. Pool.

The Sidney Airport Authority Board has two candidates, both incumbents: Jason P. Petik and Dennis T. DeNovellis.

The Leyton District No. 3 School Board has three candidates, all incumbents: Roland Rushman, Susan Ernest and David J. Wiedeman.

Potter-Dix District No. 9 School Board has three candidates: incumbents Royce McConnell and Trustin Vrtatko, and non-incumbent Colt M. Alexander.

The Sidney School District No. 1 School Board has three candidates: incumbents Kevin Challburg and Brad A. Kennedy, and non-incumbent Caleb Jones

Incumbent Gwen T. Devie is presently the only candidate for the Lodgepole Village Board of Trustees.
