Easter Egg Hunt set for 10 a.m. March 23

March 23 is the Easter Egg Hunt in Sidney with a chance for children to gather eggs filled with candy and gift certificates from local businesses. There will also be a limited number of "Golden Eggs" that qualifies a child for prizes.

SIDNEY -- Saturday morning, March 23, Legion Park in Sidney will be alive with fields of colorful eggs and children anxious to collect their share of the bounty.

The Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages 10 and younger.

Plummer Insurance, Inc., is sponsoring the 2024 Easter Egg Hunt at Sidney Legion Park. Nearly 10,000 eggs have been prepared by Plummer Insurance for the event. 

The event will be divided into four age groups, and a separate area for special needs children.

The Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 4-5 and 6-7 will be adjacent to 11th Avenue. 

Age 8 and older will meet at the Kiwanis Field between Park Avenue and Legion Park Road.

Special needs and infant to three-year-old children will have separate fields adjacent to Legion Field.

Supporters include Walmart, Arbys, Dunkin Donuts, Runza, Dairy Queen and the Sidney Sun-Telegraph.
