Police asking for help to identify vehicle involved in hammer assault case in Gering

GERING, Neb. (KNOP) - Police in Gering need your help in identifying a vehicle believed to belong to the suspect involved with beating a man with a hammer last week.

Police have been working to identify the suspect through surveillance video and captured what appears to be a dark gray, four-door sedan near the 1800 block of 20th Street.

The name of the victim is not being released due to the ongoing investigation.
