History Cafe hosting Western history author Gail Hughbanks Woener

The Overland Trail Museum is hosting award winning Western History author, Gail Hughbanks Woerner, at the special Friday, June 14 History Cafe.

STERLING, Colo. -- The Overland Trail Museum is hosting award winning Western History author, Gail Hughbanks Woerner, at the special Friday, June 14 History Café.

Hughbanks Woerner will be talking about the history of women in rodeo as she introduces her newest book, “The History of Barrel Racing in Rodeo.”

The June 14 program begins at 10:30 a.m. in the High Plains Education Center and will include a light brunch. Hughbanks Woerner will present her program and stay to autograph books for all who would like to purchase a copy.
