STERLING, Colo. -- The Logan County Fair is underway with the Sun Valley Rides Carnival and Next Era Energy Extreme Bull Riding scheduled for tonight.

The carnival is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. and the bull riding starts at 7 p.m.

Wednesday starts early with the annual Cowboy Breakfast. Traditionally, the Cowboy Breakfast is a time where people who have influenced the community or the fair are recognized. The Cowboy Breakfast is hosted by the Sterling Lions Club. Tickets are available at the door for $8.

The day continues with the Junior Hog Show, opening of the Commercial booths, Junior Sheep Show, Commissioners Cookie Jar contest at 4 p.m., carnival rides open at 5 p.m. and the Logan County Junior Rodeo starts at 6 p.m.

Thursday starts with the Logan County Farm Bureau Pancake Breakfast for livestock exhibitors and families.

Livestock shows continue through the day until 7 p.m. and the Dick Stull Memorial PRCA Rodeo. It is also the Support Armed Services Night; one free ticket with Veteran ID.

The PRCA Slack starts at 8 a.m. Friday, as do the Junior Beef Show and Dog Show. The Poultry show at 1:30 p.m. and the carnival rides open at 4 p.m. Round Robin Showmanship is at 4:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., The Dick Stull Memorial PRCA Rodeo returns to the arena; this time supporting First Responders. Any one with a professional medical ID will receive one free ticket.

Friday will also be the Miss Rodeo Logan County coronation.

The Logan County Fair Parade is 9 a.m. Saturday. At 10 a.m., the Korrey Family Watermelon Feed takes place, with rides opening at 11 a.m.

The day will be full of activities from the pedal tractor pull to the Lions Club Friendly Dog "Tail Wagging" Contest. The night closes with the Grandstand Show featuring Craig Morgan and Ned Ledoux.

The last day of the Fair, Sunday, has the carnival opening at 1 p.m. and the Demolition Derby scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
