Police make warrant arrest at abandoned hotel
ALLIANCE -- A 37-year-old man was arrested at an abandoned motel on charges including Disturbing the Peace and Third Degree Domestic Assault.
By News Channel NebraskaALLIANCE -- At about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, November 3, Officer Parker Dahlberg was patrolling in the area of the 1st Interstate Inn on West Third Street.
Officer Dahlberg observed Filisika Lasike, 37, standing in the parking lot outside one of the rooms at the 1st Interstate Inn. The suspect was armed with two large kitchen knives and stated he had been living at the abandoned motel since he got out of jail a couple weeks ago.
A warrant check revealed that the suspect was wanted on multiple warrants including Felony Child Abuse, Third Degree Domestic Assault and Disturbing the Peace.
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Box Butte County Jail without incident.
