Kimball Christmas Parade coming this weekend

KIMBALL -- The community can ring in the Christmas season by attending the Christmas Parade this Saturday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. downtown on 2nd St.
Roughly a dozen businesses have entered a float in this year’s parade so far. A few include:
- High West Energy
- Heritage Cafe
- New Hope Assembly of God
- Patriot Car Wash
- Clean Harbors
- Santa’s Helpers
People have until Friday to sign up to be in the parade.
Chelsea Autrey and Laura Perry organize the parade every year to give the town a fun experience.
Nebraska Coffee and SJAH Photography are hosting a photo session with Santa that is a free will donation. The proceeds will go toward the high school students’ Greece trip.
Pictures with Santa will be held at the Fire Hall along with the Soup Supper after the parade until 7 p.m.
Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa and grab a free hot cocoa after your visit with Santa.
“It’s one of the big chances for our kids to be able to see Santa, so it’s nice to offer that to our community,” Autrey said. “Hannah Snyder with Nebraska coffee has done a great job taking on Santa the past few years.”
