Firefighters respond to reported gas odors

Sidney firefighters were called to odor investigations tonight. No fires were reported.

SIDNEY -- Firefighters responded to a smoke/odor investigation at 625 Cabela Drive at about 5:42 p.m. today.

Early reports were of the odor was near front of the kitchen. Black Hills Energy responded to the scene as well. A Best Plumbing serviceman arrived at the scene while firefighters were investigating the scene.

No injuries or property damage were reported.

At 6:55 p.m., firefighters received a second call for a smoke/odor investigation. The second call was in the 900 block of Maple Street, Sidney.
