KIMBALL -- Ken Boston received the Kimball Health Services Employee of the Month for May.

Boston is a paramedic in the KHS Emergency Medical Services Department.

“[Ken] recently went out of his way to lend an ear, offer guidance, and provide comfort to a patient during his last days,” the nomination read. “He goes above and beyond for our patients. He’s also always in a great mood and lifting our spirits! We appreciate you!”

Each Employee of the Month winner receives an EOM certificate, a lapel pin to be attached to their lanyard or ID card, a $25 gift certificate to a Kimball-area business, an EOM parking space, and a free KHS cafeteria meal each week for the duration of the month.

Each monthly winner’s name will also be considered for the KHS Employee of the Year award.

Boston said, “I was honored to be nominated, and the best part of my job is the great people I get to work with.”
