OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - There is a large response from authorities Tuesday morning at multiple places in the Omaha metro.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday, an FBI official confirmed with First Alert 6 all four operations are connected.

The Omaha Police Department, the Nebraska State Patrol, the Omaha FBI, and Homeland Security are at New Victorian Inn and Suites near 108th and J streets, just off Highway 275.

People are being allowed to exit the hotel, but not enter. First Alert 6 arrived to the scene shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The FBI official says “court authorized law enforcement activity” is also happening Tuesday morning at Fort Crook Road S and Lloyd Street in Bellevue.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, First Alert 6 learned of two more operations at motels near 13th Street and Interstate 80 in Omaha and by Highway 50 and I-80 in Sarpy County.

A news conference is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the FBI Omaha Field. Officials are set to share information on a “multi-agency investigation,” a release states.

Joining FBI Omaha will be the United States Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the Omaha Police Department, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, and the Nebraska State Patrol.
