Sterling Police respond to disturbance involving handgun

A man and woman were arrested when Sterling Police responded to a report of a handgun discharged during a disturbance.

STERLING, Colo. -- Earlier Wednesday evening, Sterling Officers responded to multiple 911 calls of shots fired in the 200 block of Taylor Street.  

A male and female were involved in a disturbance where a handgun was discharged. A gun and spent cartridge were recovered at the scene.

Both people were arrested, and no injuries reported. This remains an active investigation.
