Sidney wins Alliance Girls Golf Invite

Sidney took home the team title at Monday’s Alliance Girls Golf Invite, while Alliance’s Ryley Norris shot an 85 to win medalist honors. Scottsbluff and Chadron also placed golfers in the top 10.

ALLIANCE, Neb. – Ryley Norris of Alliance carded an 85 to claim top individual honors at the Alliance Girls Golf Invite on Monday, while Sidney captured the team title.

Norris shot 43 on the front nine and 42 on the back to edge Scottsbluff’s Addie Peck, who finished runner-up at 87. Sidney’s Sarah Monheiser placed third with an 88.

Also finishing inside the top five were Scottsbluff’s Addison Carmody and Sidney’s Cali Haas, who tied for fourth with scores of 91. Scottsbluff’s Elliot Selzer and Sidney’s Josette McConnell followed at 94.

Rounding out the top 10 were Chadron’s Emmerson Landreth (95), Gering’s Madi Pitts (97) and Gering’s Lauren Doll (100).

Sidney earned the team title behind Monheiser, Haas, McConnell and Aubrey Campbell, who shot 102. Eden Jordan finished at 109. 

Mitchell's Kaidyn Patterson won Division 2 with a score of 82.
