Kimball wins homecoming triangular

The Kimball lady longhorn volleyball team won their home invitational with Bayard and Potter-Dix on Tuesday.

The evening included several homecoming activities, a Kimball Health Services collection of food for the Kimball Food Bank, a fundraiser for a local family, and a pink out that included home and away teams. It also included three great games, two of which went to three sets.

In the first game of the night, Bayard and Kimball stayed close in both sets, and both led in both sets. Kimball took the game in two sets, 25-19, 25-22.

The second game featured the two visiting teams with Bayard taking the first set 25-23. Potter-Dix came back to take the next two sets and the game, 25-19,25-14.

In the final match-up of the evening, Potter-Dix and Kimball came head to head. The game stayed close early in the sets, with the eventual winner pulling away late. Potter-Dix took the first set, 25-20. Kimball defended their home court and went 2-0 on the night by picking up the last two sets, 25-15, 25,-11.
