KIMBALL -- The Kimball City Council approved Tuesday to fill vacant seats on two city boards.

Nicholas Barp was appointed to the Board of Public Works, and Aaron Abraham was appointed to the Community Redevelopment Authority.

Barp was born and raised in Kimball, moved away after high school, and returned to Kimball about a year and a half ago.

This will be his first time serving on a city board, and he says he looks forward to “giving back to the community and working with the other members of the board to make the community a better place.”

Abraham moved to Kimball in 2021 and is currently on the Kimball Planning Commission.

“I love this town, and I feel like we have a lot of potential and room for growth,” Abraham said. “I want to see us succeed, and I think by being on this committee, it will be able to help this town grow into what it can be.”
