Adams County death investigation continues

Tuesday morning, January 27, Jeremy Trausch, 44, of Roseland, was located deceased in a ditch in rural Adams County. The investigation remains ongoing and there appears to be no apparent public safety threat.

HASTINGS, Neb. -- Officials continue investigating the death of the man who was found deceased in rural Adams County last week. 

Tuesday morning, Jeremy Trausch, 44, of Roseland, was located deceased in a ditch in rural Adams County, north of Highway 6, west of Juniata. Trausch’s pickup was nearby.

An autopsy has been performed, with the results of the cause of death pending confirmation from toxicology testing. Trausch had superficial injuries, but there were no signs of significant trauma. 

The investigation remains ongoing and there appears to be no apparent public safety threat. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call NSP Troop C investigators at 308-395-3713.
