HOUSTON, Tex. - Nebraska has made it to Houston.

The Huskers arrived a their team hotel shortly after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, as they prepare for their Sweet 16 showdown with the Iowa Hawkeyes on Thursday.

The hotel staff provided the Huskers with a Texas sized welcome, including staff member Victor who donned a corn cob Husker polo.

"We just wanted to make the Cornhuskers feel at home," Victor said. "This is going to be their home, hopefully til Sunday, and I just wanted to be their mascot."

Nebraska and Iowa have split the season series with the Hawkeyes victorious 57-52 in Iowa City in February, while the Huskers pulled out an 84-75 overtime win on senior day earlier this month.

Tip off is set for 6:30 CT on Thursday.
