Sunday is no longer a day of rest for FedEx employees.

Starting this week, Sundays are just another day of the work week.

The delivery service begins Sunday ground service as it tries to compete with Amazon and other shippers.

FedEx delivered packages on Sundays during the holiday season, but now most Americans can expect to receive orders 7 days a week year-round.

FedEx is trying to keep pace with the massive amount of packages delivered by Amazon every year.

Its competitor UPS also launched Sunday delivery at the beginning of the year.
