Farmers Day takes over Kimball this weekend
KIMBALL, NE — A celebration of small town roots is coming to one panhandle town this weekend. The 95th annual Kimball Farmers Day celebration is set for Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September, 26.

The 95th annual Kimball Farmers Day celebration is set for Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September, 26.
Events on Friday include bike races at 6 p.m. and cruise night along 3rd St. from 7 to 9 p.m.
Most of the festivities are set for Saturday starting with the 40th annual fun run at 8 a.m. The annual parade will take place at 10 a.m.
Throughout the day there will be plenty of events to enjoy including the Farmers Day market, cornhole and glow disc tournaments, gun raffle and clean up derby.
Sunday includes the Kimball Kamakazee R/C airshow at 10 a.m. at the Kimball airport.
Other festivities such as a quilt show, book sale, photography display and showings of the move "Jungle Cruise" will take place on multiple days over the weekend.
Kimball did have its annual celebration last year, although some events were canceled or altered due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time.
