Cheyenne County Lawyers' Association scholarship deadline April 7

SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association will be awarding one scholarship to a deserving Cheyenne County area student in the amount of $1,500.

SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association will be awarding one scholarship to a deserving Cheyenne County area student in the amount of $1,500.

Applicants interested in applying for this scholarship should present resumes and a 100 word (maximum) summary of their post-high school plans to the Association and answer (250 word maximum) one of the following questions: “What is something that you have done in the past year that has made a difference?” or “Why should you be awarded this scholarship?” no later than April 7, 2023.

 All interested applicants will be interviewed during the selection process. Students may mail the application information to Don Miller, President, Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association, P. O. Box 15, Sidney, Nebraska 69162 or email the application information to [email protected].

Students are selected from the three area high schools, Sidney, Potter-Dix and Leyton. Recipients shall be notified of the award by April 28, 2023.

All recipients must be enrolled in an accredited university/college or community college by Aug. 31, 2023 in order to receive the scholarship funds.
