PLATTE COUNTY, Neb. -- A man was reported missing in Platte County.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office said they are searching for 37-year-old Jake Antonio Clark.

Officers said they performed a traffic stop on Clark's vehicle, a 1999 green Buick Century, around 9:10 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2023, for not having plates or valid in-transits. Clark was allowed to leave after the traffic stop.

According to authorities, a complaint came in around 5:15 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2023. The complaint was reportedly about Clark's vehicle that was parked in the lane of traffic on a rural road in Platte County.

Officials said the Buick was running, headlights and interior dome light on, trunk open, and driver's side window broken out. A duffel bag that is believed to belong to Clark was found 100 yards from the Buick on the road.

PCSO said attempts to find Clark's location was unsuccessful and his phone is believed to be off. His family has reportedly not heard from him.

If anyone has information about Clark, contact PCSO.
