Cheyenne County Commissioners to meet February 5
SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Commissioners are scheduled to convene at 8 a.m. Monday, February 5.
The meeting will be held in the commissioners meeting room at the Cheyenne County Courthouse.
The agenda includes approval of a Representation Letter from Dana F. Cole regarding the 2022-2023 Cheyenne County Audit, review and consider approval of an application for county burial assistance, approve a Federal-Aid Urban Area Boundary map, and Emergency Management Coordinator Ron Leal will meet regarding request for project closeout Brownson and Lorenzo outdoor warning siren project.
Sidney Regional Medical Center CEO Jason Petik will provide an update on the nursing home project, and Kim Matthews, Business Development Manager for Adams Industries, will be present to talk about grant applications.
The commissioners also also scheduled to meet with Matt Silverman of Vistabeam Internet, and Tourism Director Kendra Mitchell will discuss the "All Is Bright" Christmas tour.
Kevin Sylvester, Dana F. Cole & Company will present the 2022-2023 county audit for review and approval. Nathanial Terman will be discussing road opening, Highway Superintendent Doug Hart will update the commissioners on road activities and the board will go into executive session regarding courthouse security.
