Cross County holds off Cedar Catholic to advance to C-2 semifinals
LINCOLN, Neb. — Cross County is heading to the state semifinals for the second year in a row.
The Cougars defeated Cedar Catholic 41-38 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Thursday afternoon.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Cross County is heading to the state semifinals for the second year in a row.
The Cougars defeated Cedar Catholic 41-38 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Thursday afternoon.
Mason Baller hit a three for Cedar Catholic to tie the game with 1:01 to play, but the Cougars hit three free throws down the stretch while holding the Trojans scoreless the rest of the way to earn the win.
Wyatt Hengelfelt led Cross County with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Ballers scored a team high 8 for Cedar Catholic in the defeat.
Cross County will face West Holt in the semis on Friday at 3:15 p.m.
