SIDNEY, Neb. – Viaero Wireless marked its 20th anniversary in Sidney with a community appreciation celebration on Thursday afternoon, thanking local residents and surrounding towns for two decades of support.

Viaero's Devany Turner shared her appreciation for the community and the company’s mission.

“We just want to say thank you to our amazing community here and the towns around," Turner said. "We’re happy to be your provider - another face in the community sponsoring events and sponsoring schools."

The event, held at the Viaero store at 1119 Illinois Street, featured a charcuterie board from Savor & Grace, teas from Sweeties Bakery, and cookies provided by Sweet Ice. Guests enjoyed giveaways, face painting by the Sidney Danz Team, and a chance to win prizes and gift bags. Debbie Sweetser was drawn as the winner of a Viaero tech gift basket, which included a car mount, speaker and headphones.

“I love Viaero’s sense of community,” Turner added. “From being a part of Downtown Sounds to Potter Carbowl and being a booster club member to providing internet to the school for free, if they needed it. Anything that they do, I love being a part of it. I just love being able to serve rural America.”

Viaero Wireless offers wireless phone and internet service across rural communities and continues to be an active supporter of local events and school programs. The Sidney location is open Monday through Saturday and can be reached at (308) 250-1111.
