SIDNEY, Neb. — The Alliance boys and girls wrestling teams picked up road dual victories Tuesday night at Sidney High School, edging the Red Raiders 38-26 in the boys dual and the Lady Raiders 13-12 in the girls matchup.

In the boys dual, Alliance secured wins in eight contested bouts, including falls from Wyatt Stabnow at 120 pounds, Coy Childers at 132, Trini Trejo at 138 and Colter Tolstedt at 285. Jett Childers added a technical fall at 126, while Andrew Benzel earned a technical fall at 144 and Colton Johnson posted a major decision at 190.

Sidney countered with victories from Bentley Gilbert at 113 via forfeit, Jonah Graham at 150 by decision, Morrison Tooley at 157 by forfeit, Zech Roggasch at 165 by technical fall and Cayson Boltjes at 215 with a fall.

Two weights ended in double forfeits.

The girls dual was decided by a single point. Alliance earned wins from Graci Beals at 140 by decision, Alexie Solis at 105 by major decision and Braylin Gibson at 120 with a fall. Sidney’s points came from forfeits at 125 and 135, with wins by Samira Arguello and Izabella Liges.
