Field Reporter & Sports Broadcaster

Born in a small town named Lynch, located in northeast Nebraska, sports and the outdoors have always been a huge part of my life.  So, helping News Channel Nebraska broadcast local high school and college sports, while also delivering outdoor and ag news fits me well.  I also host the outdoor show Chasin’ The Dream, which airs Saturday and Sunday mornings on News Channel Nebraska featuring family-friendly hunting and fishing excursions across Nebraska.

I played football while earning multiple degrees at Peru State College.  Peru State is also where I met my wife, Ashley (Kappas) Classen.  Ashley is a science teacher at Plattsmouth High School, and also coaches volleyball. We currently have two children; wild-man 3 year old Ozzy, and 1 year old sweetheart, Kimber.
