Flood Communications, including KSID-FM and KSID-AM, invites everyone to participate in our contests! Unlike nationwide giveaways, our contests are 100% local—created for the Nebraska Panhandle, northeast Colorado and southeast Wyoming.

General Contest Rules

  1. Flood Communications may provide hints, clues, or assistance at its discretion during contests.
  2. Participants may only win or register once every 30 days. Only one winner per household.
  3. Flood Communications is not responsible for lost or delayed mail, phone/fax failures, or email malfunctions affecting participation.
  4. Management has sole discretion over contest rule interpretations and decisions, which are final.

Eligibility & Prize Requirements

  1. Employees of Flood Communications and their immediate family members or anyone residing with them are not eligible to win.
  2. Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with their prize. A W-9 form must be completed before receiving any prize valued at over $600.
  3. For prizes valued at $600 or more, participants must be U.S. citizens.
  4. If a participant wins $600 or more in a tax year, a W-9 form must be completed, regardless of how many times they’ve won.

Contest Administration

  1. Contest rules may be amended at any time. Changes will be published on the News Channel Nebraska website and take effect immediately.
  2. Incomplete, unclear, or non-compliant entries may be rejected.
  3. If multiple participants submit the correct answer or guess, a drawing will determine the winner.

Legal & Privacy Notice

  1. No contest rule shall violate applicable laws or FCC regulations.
  2. Participants should have no expectation of privacy regarding submissions or winner announcements. Flood Communications reserves the right to use participant information as deemed appropriate.
  3. By submitting an entry, participants accept these rules and waive any claims against Flood Communications and its contest sponsors.
