Thomas Anthony Carrasco, age 79 of Sidney, NE and formerly of Franktown, CO., passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025.

Tom was a loving and devoted husband, a proud grandfather, and a dad who always put family first; a caring brother, son, and a loyal friend. He loved bird watching, stargazing, RV camping, sports, and music. He was a fervent dog lover, aka ‘The Dogfather’ who fostered and frequently adopted upwards of 80 rescued dogs.

Tom was beloved for his quick wit and lighthearted humor — a fun-loving trickster who loved to make people laugh. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his wife, Andrea; his sons, Tom, Tim (Dana), and Todd (Jennifer); and grandsons, Joshua, Cayden, Duncan, and Cael; siblings, Gregg, Belinda, and Desiree.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert, and Catherine Carrasco; and siblings, Delores, Trinidad, Francis, and James.

Memorial Services for Thomas will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2025 at the Parker Bible Church in Parker, CO with Dr. Kirk Youngblood officiating. Lunch will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Rocky Mountain Collie & Sheltie Rescue (https://www.collieshelterescue.org/info/donate)
