CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Two Cheyenne men were arrested Thursday morning following the execution of a search warrant by the Cheyenne Police Department and the Laramie County Sheriff's Office as part of a months-long narcotics investigation.

According to police, members of the Cheyenne Police–Laramie County joint SWAT team served the warrant at approximately 10 a.m. at a residence in the 2400 block of East 11th Street. The operation followed an investigation led by CPD’s Community Action Team, which determined in November 2025 that fentanyl pills and methamphetamine were being distributed from the home.

Detectives obtained a search warrant and established probable cause to arrest two suspects: Terell Royal, 39, and Travis Fauque, 33, both of Cheyenne.

Upon arrival, officers made multiple announcements for occupants to exit the residence. Nine individuals, including Royal, complied and left the home. Police said Fauque refused to exit and hid in the attic.

Officers deployed non-lethal measures, including CS gas, in an effort to safely resolve the situation. The standoff ended at 12:06 p.m., when Fauque surrendered and was taken into custody.

During the search of the residence, officers located what police described as a felony amount of fentanyl pills and methamphetamine.

Fauque was arrested on suspicion of interference, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl and felony theft. He was transported for medical clearance before being booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Royal was arrested on suspicion of sale and delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing. Assisting agencies included Cheyenne Fire Rescue, AMR Cheyenne, the Division of Criminal Investigation and Cheyenne Animal Control.
