NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Sustainable Beef has reached a major production milestone, now processing 1,500 head of cattle per day, a goal the North Platte-based plant achieved this month after setting the ambitious target when the project began.

“Growth is driven by clear vision, accountability, and teamwork,” the company said in a social media post. “When this project began, we set an ambitious goal — 1,500 head per day — and today, that goal has become a reality.”

The company credited the accomplishment to focus and alignment across teams.

“Reaching this milestone reflects strong leadership, teams taking ownership, and a shared commitment to high standards across every department,” Sustainable Beef said. “It didn’t happen by chance; it happened because people stayed focused and aligned.”

With the production target met, leadership is looking ahead to future challenges and expansion opportunities.

“With the foundation we’ve built, there’s no doubt we are ready for what’s ahead,” the company said.

Sustainable Beef operates one of the region’s major beef processing facilities, serving cattle producers and consumers across the agricultural sector.
