Scottsbluff High School announces new career academy offerings

Scottsbluff High School is offering additional classes in the next upcoming school year for Juniors and Seniors.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scottsbluff High School is offering additional classes in the next upcoming school year for Juniors and Seniors.

“As a wall to wall career academy at Scottsbluff High School, we respond to student needs and respond to student interest and also very importantly to what the community needs and what the community industries are," Scottsbluff Superintendent Dr. Andrew Dick said. 

One addition is the Sports Medicine course that will actively engage students, while focusing on the basic information and skills.

Another course being Companion Animal and Equine Behavior.

"With these opportunities our direct respond to expanding and enriching the opportunities to our students and also expanding those opportunities that will help the workforce within our communities," Dick said.

Most of these classes will offer dual-credit.
