Multiple watches and warnings in place for panhandle
There are plenty of advisories, watches and warnings in western Nebraska as a blast of winter weather approaches on Friday.
Here's a breakdown of all the watches in the panhandle, northeast Colo. and southeast Wyo. as of 2:00 p.m. MT Friday.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
Counties impacted: Kimball, Cheyenne, Garden, Laramie (Wyo.), Sedgwick (Colo.), Logan (Colo.), Phillips (Colo.)
Time: 5 p.m. MT Friday thru 11 a.m. MT Saturday in Neb. and Wyo... 11 a.m. MT Friday thru 11 a.m. Saturday in Colo.
Impacts: Two to four inches of snow expected (up to six inches in Colo.) Slippery road conditions.
Wind chills expected to be 20 below zero. Frostbite and hypothermia possible without proper precautions.
WINTER STORM WARNING
Counties impacted: Deuel, Keith
Time: 5 p.m. MT Friday thru 5 p.m. MT Saturday
Impacts: Three to five inches of snow. Slippery road conditions and reduced visibility due to blowing snow.
Wind Chill values as low as 29 below expected. Frostbite possible in as little as 30 minutes on exposed skin.

WIND CHILL ADVISORY
Counties impacted: Dawes, Box Butte, Sioux, Sheridan
Time: 5 p.m. MT Friday thru 11 a.m. MT Saturday
Impacts: Wind chills expected to be 25 below zero. Frostbite possible on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
