Hay Springs’ DeCoste signs with Concordia

Hay Springs’ Logan DeCoste has signed his letter of intent to continue his football career at Concordia University in Seward, NE.

DeCoste helped lead the Hawks to a D6 runner-up finish in 2018 and then took Hay Springs back to the playoffs in 2021 after a two year absence.

DeCoste led Hay Springs’ offense this past season with 979 yards through the air and 11 touchdowns.  He accounted for 8 more scores on the ground.

Defensively DeCoste was 2nd on the team in tackles, 3rd in tackles for loss, and came away with 3 interceptions 

Concordia is an NAIA school in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.  The Bulldogs went 7-3 this past season and finished 3rd in the conference but missed the playoffs.
