Wind Chill advisory in effect for most of Nebraska overnight

A majority of the Cornhusker state will face brutally cold temperatures overnight Wednesday into Thursday. 

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for the all Nebraska counties except those in the far southeastern corner.

Wind Chills of -20 to -30 are expected during the overnight hours. Frostbite can occur within 30 minutes on exposed skin in these conditions. 

The Advisory goes into effect for the Panhandle, which also saw snow Wednesday, at 9 p.m. MT. It will last until 8 a.m. MT Thursday. 

For portions of Nebraska further east the advisory doesn't go into effect until midnight CT Thursday and will expire by the late morning Thursday.
