Snow emergency in Kimball

The City of Kimball declared a snow emergency due to the "expected high snowfall amounts" Wednesday.

KIMBALL - The City of Kimball declared a snow emergency due to the "expected high snowfall amounts" Wednesday.

The city is asking citizens to not leave parked vehicles on the designated Emergency Snow Routes effective immediately through Thursday evening. The street department will be removing snow from those streets.

The designated Emergency Snow Routes are: Chestnut Street from 1st Street to 4th Street; and 2nd Street from Howard Street to Oak Street.

Signs are posted on those routes.
