(Peru, Neb.)—On Tuesday March 22, former Peru State defensive back Delonte Hood performed well in front of NFL scouts during Nebraska's Pro Day. The NFL Draft this year is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada from Thursday April 28 through Saturday April 30.
 
Hood is a 5-foot-11 192-pound junior defensive back from Washington D.C. and played division I football at the University of Toledo before coming to Peru State College.
 
He had an extremely impressive pro day in Lincoln Neb., he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, 4.20 20-yard shuttle and 6.84 3-cone drill. Hood also had 35 inch vertical, 10-foot-5 broad jump and had 12 reps of 225 lbs. on the bench press.
 
Hood had a solid season for the 'Cats as he had 21 total tackles, 16 of which were solo, he also had seven PBUs, an interception and a blocked kick. Propelling the Bobcats to one of the best defenses in the NAIA last season.
