Despite cloudiness, Kimball water still safe to use

A maintenance repair to a water system in Kimball trapped air and caused the city's water to appear cloudy Wednesday.

KIMBALL - A maintenance repair to a water system in Kimball trapped air and caused the city's water to appear cloudy Wednesday.

According to a press release from the city, the water department is aware of the clarity issue with the city's water. They're actively flushing the system to clear the cloudiness of the water. The water is still safe to use for drinking, cooking and cleaning. 

The City of Kimball Water Department hopes to have flushing completed as soon as possible. They apologize for the inconvenience.
