Eli Schmid and Grace Timm were awarded the Nebraska State FFA Degree. The State FFA Degree is the highest honor that the Nebraska FFA Association can bestow on its members. Whiting says, "this is quite the accomplishment and their leadership with the Creek Valley FFA Chapter has been quite intensive."
Grace Timm, a senior at Creek Valley High School, was installed as a Nebraska State FFA Vice President. Timm spent time in March at the preliminary State Officer Interviews, where she was selected as a finalist. Timm and Mrs. Whiting left early for the State Convention so Timm could participate in the final round of interviews.
"Congratulations Grace," Whiting said. "We are all so proud of you."
Whiting said Troy Isenbart was the van driver and chaperone and Mrs. Hostleter drove the van to Lincoln.
"Your support is greatly appreciated," Whiting said.
