The Cheyenne County Lawyers Association awards scholarship to Sidney senior
SIDNEY, Neb. -- The Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association announced the winner of the $1,500 scholarship they will be awarding to a Cheyenne County area senior.
The scholarship winner is Karalyn Stevens, a Senior at Sidney High School. Daniel Bashtovoi, a Senior at Sidney High School is the runner-up for the scholarship.
Don Miller, President of the CCLA, said they would like to thank all the seniors who applied for these scholarships. Miller said the Association received a number of outstanding applications and all of the applicants should be commended on their achievements.
Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited university/college or community college by August 31, 2022 in order to receive the scholarship funds. In the event the scholarship winners are not enrolled in an accredited university/college or community college by August 31, 2022, then the runner-up will be awarded the scholarship.
