MCCOOK, Neb. (KNEP) - It was a strong day for local teams in Class B as the District B-4 Boys Golf Meet taking place in McCook. In the end behind top five finishes from Austin Thyne (81) and Kaedon Patton (84) the Bearcats would fire a team score of 349 to take the district title. Thomas Dredla (91), Graham Noah Shaddick (93) and Treyten York (101) round out the district champion Bearcats.

Sidney’s John Beier your district individual champion as he fires a round of 80 to take the top spot and head to state. Chadron’s Jacksyn Behrends (88) and Gering’s John Maser (89) also heading to state individually.

The 2022 Nebraska Class B State Golf Tournament set for Scottsbluff next week.
