Officers were dispatched to the report of a physical disturbance at 5th Ave and East Overland. Officers arrived in the area and reported seeing several people running northeast from the intersection.

Scottsbluff Police Captain Brian Wasson said the individuals were likely running away from the police after a public disturbance.

Officers reported finding one of the females in the east alley of the 1500 Block of 6th Avenue. 26-year-old Jessie Seiffert was patted down for weapons when officers reported finding a glass pipe in her pants pocket. The burnt residue inside the pipe was later confirmed as meth.
