Eastern Wyoming College Welcomes To New Head Coaches

TORRINGTON, Wyo. (KNEP) - Eastern Wyoming College welcomes two new head coaches to the athletic program.

Judd Wisener will be the Lancers new head volleyball coach. Wisener comes to Torrington from South Carolina-Sumter where he was the program’s first ever head coach.

He brings a wealth of volleyball experience to the table from both the collegiate and club levels. Which includes stops in Texas at Coastal Bend College and Stephen F. Austin State University.

Last season the Lancers finished with 15 wins advancing into the Region IX title match.

EWC also welcoming a new head coach for the women’s basketball program. Tim Larsen is set to take over the program. In addition to head coaching duties Larsen will also be the fitness center director.

Larsen comes from Pima Community College in Arizona where he was an assistant coach for the women’s basketball program that finished in the top eight at the National Junior College Tournament a couple years ago.

The Eastern Wyoming ladies finished with 18 wins last season advancing into the Region IX title game.
